Hey, San Diego let’s get swimming! With our perfect climate and superb beaches, The Swimming Swan is at your doorstep to help you and your family take advantage of it all. We service all of San Diego County with our at-home swimming lessons and private lifeguards for hire. Whether you are looking for basic water safety for your young ones or advanced coaching for your swimmers we can help. Our team of Red Cross Certified swim instructors will travel to your home for a private one on one lesson when it fits into your hectic schedule
Are you an adult who doesn’t swim? Let us come to your home and teach you, wouldn’t that be a wonderful surprise for your friends and family next time you get together for a pool party. Speaking of pool parties, give us a call next time you are hosting one and our private lifeguards will travel to you.
Looking for a fun summer activity to bring your community together? Our Aqua Fitness classes are a great way to highlight your properties’ facilities and make you the best choice in the neighborhood. The Swimming Swan offers 3 options to choose from Swan Fit, Swan Lake, and Swan Strength. Our instructors are friendly and upbeat and just waiting for you to call them to come out and get moving to the groove in the water.
Do you know about all of the best water activities located right here in San Diego? Let’s start with the splash zones for your littlest ones, while you grab a cup of coffee or snack and relax. They can splash around outside the food court at the Otay Ranch Town Center, the Horton Plaza Park with exciting interactive pop-up jets or the Del Mar Highlands Town Center Fountain. Spend an afternoon at The Waterfront Park in Downtown with its giant fountain that your kids will love and even offers a rough floor to grip their feet and prevent slipping.
For more of an outing with your kids try Mountain Hawk Park they have a splash pad and playground with hiking trails and a gazebo for picnics or Hilton Head County Park also features a pirate-themed splash park and nearby playground, there’s even an ice cream truck on the weekends. Tierrasanta pool and Play area boast both a shallow area and a slide that ends in the deep end for the bigger kids who can pass a swim test.
San Diego has some pretty great water parks for the most adventurist swimmers too! Have you been to Aquatica, LEGOLAND, or Great Wolf Lodge yet? These action water parks will keep your swimmers entertained and screaming with joy as they slide down the biggest waterslides and race their friends.
Let’s go to the beach San Diego! For families, La Jolla Beach is one of the gentler beaches and is great for watching sea lions and seals along the coves. If you would like to take your beloved four-legged friends with you head to Dog Beach located just north of San Diego in Del Mar. Surfers, there are plenty of hot spots for you in too, check out Cardiff State Beach, Moonlight State Beach, or Torrey Pines State Beach where you can often find hang gliders floating in the wind.
